About us
A neighbourhood charity, run by neighbours
We started in a church hall kitchen in 2014, when a handful of local people decided that nobody on these streets should go cold or hungry without someone noticing. A soup morning became a warm space; a box of surplus veg became a pantry; a patch of nettles became a garden.
Today we are a registered charity with two part-time staff, a volunteer team of more than forty, and a simple rule: if it helps a neighbour and we can do it well, we do it.
